Technical Sales Engineer (Citrix, VMware)
ZeeTim is a leading virtualization and cloud software vendor and is looking for A players to join its team. In this role responsibilities include:
- Presenting and demoing software solutions remotely or in person
- Planning and undertaking regular POCs
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, servers, networks, applications, database, printers and scanners.
- Supporting and troubleshooting customer challenges
- Quality Assurance testing and assessment of new product releases
- Close collaboration with the development team and software users to determine the nature of any problems
- Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults.
- Maintaining up to date demo environment
- Testing and evaluating new applications and software.
- Provide technical and functional support remotely or in person
- Documenting and maintaining current inventory of IT Assets used in POCs.
- Participation in blog articles
- Recording of training videos for customers
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of Virtualization Technologies (Citrix, VMware, Microsoft Hyper V, KVM)
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server Platforms
- Good knowledge of Cloud technologies including Azure and AWS
- Good understanding of Thin and Zero clients
- Good knowledge of storage technologies
- Good knowledge of networking and security
- Solid Management
- Solid Presentation Abilities
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Certifications – MCSA, MCSE, CCA, VCA, VCP, VCAP
- 2 years experience minimum
- Business Acumen
- Problem Solving
- Dealing with Ambiguity
